On March 27 at 8:30 pm, hundreds of millions of people around the world will turn off their lights for an hour to demand action on climate change. Join them by pledging to do the same.

There are many ways to expand the impact of Earth Hour. Host a party by candlelight; convince your campus to turn off the lights for an hour and host an acoustic concert; grab some friends and some sleeping bags and spend the night star gazing; convince a local coffee shop or restaurant to host a special candlelight dinner with local, organic food; or hold a candlelight vigil for climate justice. The Earth Hour website has toolkits for download to help you expand the impact of your commitment.
Share your Earth Hour plans with us at info@ourclimate.ca so that we can share your story and ideas with other members of the Canadian youth climate movement.
